£595+£50+£375+£25+£70+£25 = £1,140
(Engine+delivery+gear+delivery+cambeltkit+waterpump)

A bit too much for me... I'll stick with my 2.6 then.  :(

The only time I would buy of this bloke is if I was collecting as it looks like he has a habit of not sending the items

Courious from Fife asks.....

Why should someone show the item location in the main header as being in London, but in the script description, show it as Lerwick?  And why only payment by bank transfer?

Mebbe I am missing summat here, but there are a few hundred miles between London and Lerwick.....  And bank transfers are a done deal when done, as far as I know...

Naw...  Too suss for me...

Had another look at his other items that he's selling on e-bay.

Lots of items, almost all of them the 'shiney, must have' type of engine and car bits.  Some of the listings state items are in Lerwick, others don't.

Why Lerwick?  Very far north, not the usual inner city type market.

Then got to thinking - where can the fisher folk spend their money, other than on their shiney cars?  Round my neck of the woods, when the East Neuk fishing ports in Fife were at their boom best a few years ago, the number of RS Turbos, SRi/GTE's and a Lotus Carlton or two (yep, really) and other exotica driven by young fisher folk was incredible.  And they crashed them regularly and thus, the cars were scrapped....

Could be the same sort of thing, but still dunno about the bank transfer bit.
