Getting constant tone on rear sensors, had been a bit temperamental for a while. Usually a nice light 'tap/smack' on each sensor fixed the problem, done a bit of diagnosis this time.
I can hear the clicking on each sensor, so I think it's an obstruction. Best to remove each sensor from the housing, clean the tube and re-fit? :-\

I read before trick was either feel for tap or listen for the click, someones it's clear which sensor is not working. But they all are, as far as I can tell.
So junk/bumper dirt stopping on working correctly. :-\

Entwood was No 1 for this ... something to do with a jumper in the box of electrickery in the boot seems to ring a bell :-\

Thanks for that, a scan, suggests if I pull:
Entwood: What I did find was a purple blade fuse.. that isn't a fuse .. its a 430 Ohm resistor .. If I remove THAT and try the system .. the tones are different. I don't get the light "self test" tone at all .. I then get
That purple blade fuse, pops it into a test mode.
Where is said fuse though? :-\

It's screwed to the inner wing panel towards the top of the wheel arch :y

The Park Pilot ECU itself is, but I seem to recall the "fuse"/link is nearer the rear light cluster

Aye, up by the N/S/R light cluster where the loom runs for the towbar electrics

Problem solved, fixed itself, for now at least. Got into car today, sensors working normally again.

Maybe water has got to where it shouldn't and has now dried out now that the weather is nicer :-\

The o rings swell slightly when wet, and are equally disrupted by excess polish, dirt or frost. ;)

I like to think it was the spirited drive home, I was up late at office supporting Game of Thrones and left office at 10:15PM.
Empty roads, not sure what got into 3.2 but it felt very different. Perhaps cooler damp air of the evening, it just wanted to pull pull pull, felt quicker than normal. :-\
