Pad change or fluid bleed.

Would you change the front pads before or after a brake bleed, or doesn't it matter?

No, on thinking about it, you couldn't do them at the same time, you could only do one or the other, so there :P

Same time, as you need to remove pads to push calipers in to get old fluid from caliper...

I would do them at the same time but pads first as the pistons have to be pushed back into the caliper and if you have filled the resevoir as you bleed the brakes you will end up lovely paint stripping brake fluid everywhere. So at the same time but pads then bleed brakes if you know what I mean.   eer my head hurts know  ;D

My reasoning, is bleed through so clear, clamp rubber hose, push caliper pitons back in to expell the fluid in caliper, then fit new pads...
