We hear trade club cards mentioned quite a lot on here. Is there an easy way to get one or is it a benefit for garages only kind of thing?

If you join some of the other clubs you get trade club. Autobahnstormers and mig are two.

It is suppose to be....but as mentioned joining other clubs can get you one.

Still havent got mine yet   2nd attempt! Maybe i'll have a nice suprise when i came back from hols

strictly speaking you need to be in the trade.

However, clubs who are members of the VBOA (Vauxhall Bedford Opel Association) now have trade club membership for their members - but for personal use only - Vx reserve the right to remove this if they feel it is being abused, and could withdraw it for ALL clubs and their members. Rumour has it that not all dealers recognise this arrangement, but it was advertised in an internal magazine a good few months ago which I believe helped on that score.

My local Stealer still say there are not a participant in this arrangement although they will give you trade (usually 15%) at the drop of a hat

Yes that true as well, not all dealers will give you trade club price....and true again most dealers will give discount if you ask.....i dont have to ask anymore as im in the dealer so often they just give me discount without me having to ask..good or bad thing  :-/

I got a Trade Club Card last week, applied for it through my local dealer who service our fleet of approx 300 Vauxhall's. If please require parts sent me a PM .

My trade Club Card was the same about 6 weeks.
