Sir Keir Starmer
« on: 27 November 2019, 12:42:10 »

Anyone seen him , or Rebecca Long Bailey for that matter, on TV recently?

I am thinking he is waiting for Corbyn and momentum to crash and burn at the election and then step in as new leader and in Rebecca’s case , cabinet member .

Regardless of your politics, I always thought Keir Starmer was more of a leader than Corbyn or McDonnell for that matter.

Rebecca Long Bailey is just as odious as Corbyn. And for Starmer to become leader, the moderates would have to grow a pair and get rid of momentum.

Yes, another being kept away from the media in case he advocates sending kids who don't pass their 11 plus up chimneys.

Surely they're going to have to be seriously malnourished to fit up the gas flue, though..

I think you'll find that if Corbyn stands down after the election it will be the membership that choose the next leader, so it will likely be someone just as hard left as Corbyn!  :y

Corbyn has seen off 2 leadership challenges so far in his 4 years in charge of the Liebour party, thanks to the Momentum hate mob!  :y

And they'll want one of their own if Corbyn stands down.  ;)

Can you still join Liebour for £3?  If so I'll pay for Albs membership!  :)

I hope they get an even more left wing leader. It will keep them out of power for good.

As I understand the current set up of the Liebour party, I think it's likely.  :)

I think you may misunderstand how the mind of your average lazy 'flake mind works.  And socialism appeals to that mindset, hence Labour all for lowering the voting age.  Not that a 'flake will see it as a step to communism.

I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that Labour might be stronger than what we hope.

'Flakes, as you call them, are a very small, but very noisy section of society that count for nothing when it comes to things like a general election. Pensioners, such as me, both outnumber and outvote them many times over.

I have a 20 year old son at university, don't believe the hype about students supporting Labour.
