Went for a walk this afternoon.....
« on: 13 April 2020, 17:28:04 »

.......and came back with this:

Found him dodging traffic on a busy road. His ribs are sticking out, he stinks, he's got dandruff, cuts under both eyes and is very frightened. Apart from that, he's fine.
Lifted him into the bath and washed him as best I could (couldn't let him stay the way he was, he was stinking the place out) and gave him two pouches of food. Seems to be settling a bit.
I've let the local dog warden know by email, obviously nowt going to happen today (bank holiday). I think the missus hopes no one turns up, she loves him already.

Be careful he doesn't slip your dog a length.

He doesn't appear to have anything hanging from the rear, and poppy was spayed 8 years ago, so should be ok.

If he knows he can't make your dog pregnant he may throw caution to the winds. :)

Well done Stemo, hate to see any animal in this condition especially a dog, no matter what humans put them through they still have trust good on you..

Looks like you need to get used to the idea of being a two dog family! By the time you get chance to hand him over to a dogs home/dog warden/vet etc he'll have grown on you and by the looks of it you've already grown on him the way he seems to have made himself at home :) The "owner" if they can be found clearly don't want him, certainly don't deserve him[or any pet]and should face legal action for their treatment of him.
