I saw a shed of a German Opel Omega estate here in Spain with that roof gizmo (DVD player?). The guy was actually selling it but it looked as though it had been in a demolition derby.

From memory it also had some other gizmos that the UK never had. Electric folding mirrors for example.

I am still looking for a 2,.5 Dti.

I'm no make up expert but that bird in't 2nd pic looks ill  and you can see the line where her make up ends and her hair starts

I've never had the displeasure, is it any good for a diesel? In theory, could you transplant one into a TD? (I wouldn't want to myself, but I'm curious...)

No reason why not in theory the 3.5d would drop straight in too

All the test cars were destroyed, the estate wsa evaluated at millbrook, some work was done at SVO before it was closed(Biggleswade), and a sportier version was planned, but that was canned in favour of,just using the Holden version.

always wondered about a V8 Omega, as years ago i was chasing then home secretary Charles Clarke at this particular venue he turned up in an Omega estate in a metallic jade green colour, went over to have a chat with his driver & he told me it was a V8 & that every now & again Vauxhall produced a one off model & they were used as ministerial cars. Tried getting in touch with various Government agencies to find out the history of this car but always drew a blank, even staff at Luton were hopeless so none the wiser as to wether it was a V8 or not
