Mine has a 1600 xflow bored out to 1700 and is quicker than the mexico

I watched it but .......... Mmmm , not sure 
Not enough on the actual restoration of the car which was disappointing .
Too much hyperbole re "Boy Racers " which would have more than a few owners of pristine modified  MK 1 escorts across here spitting feathers .
I await the Landrover episode to see if it improves.

Yes it was a shame they didn't show more but I think it was done by several people and not just the mechanic shown like other programs of this type.

My first new car in August 1973 was an Escort Mexico monza blue with white flash, a friend of mine worked for Ford back then, with discount cost me £1030.00 on the road..wish I had it now traded it in for a Granada 3.0 Ghia.

Went to a little car museum in Devon at the weekend and they had a mk2 Lotus Cortina there on show,very nice it was too
