A super looking motor mate. Had an F plate manual myself a few years ago. Very enjoyable drive and still suprisingly quick with 375k on it. Sold it to get the ,mig. Also had a pair of 3.0 24V Diamond estates, the GSI estate as some people call them. We have several very nice examples over at ABS, most are in red though.

Thanks Keith, 375k on the clock!! Testament to the rock solid Vx engines  :y

You've given a kick up the virtual backside!! Tonight I did a four hour round jolly to get some bits for the LC. At this rate I'll have her finished before the petrol runs out!! Had a nice trip in the Omega and even managed 32 MPG as I wasn't pushing it.

Thanks Venom, appreciate the comment. I did all of the build (and the stripdown  :o) myself (and got the scars to prove it  :(), though I left the technical stuff to the experts. My brother-in-law is a panel beater/fitter for Vauxhall so he helped me with lining the panels up (he taught me to weld so I also did that). Got a mate who's a sprayer for Vx so naturally he did the paintwork  ;). And got a mate who's an expert on Monza's who helped me fit the engine  :y Everything else was done by me....that's why it took so long!!

I can appreciate practically what has gone into this "build" as I had one of these from new (a Company car), on a G plate as yours, and in black (sort of metallic black as I suspect yours is - a bit difficult to see 100% from a photo), and I have to say yours looks so much better than my one even when it was brand new!! :y :y :y
