Try all cubby holes - glove box left and right, and rear of boot pockets left and right, door pockets, etc. If no joy, ttry to trace previous owner and ask him.

I once bought an Omega in auction at Witney, found it had locking wheel nuts and no key that I could find. I found previous owners details in documents, rang him, it turned up in his wife's handbag. I drove there (only in Bath, 10 miles away) and he gave it me together with a set of bulbs.

That tool might work ( I wonder how though), otherwise a thread a month or so ago described how it can be removed by welding a big nut to it.

Those security nuts are a pain. First thing I do on buying a used car is remove them and replace them with proper wheel nuts.

Alternatively check the paperwork/ manual that came with the car and it might have the number of the key in there.

Generally a small square of white card with sticker and 3 figure number and the GM part number for the type of locking nut

If its a Vxl key/ nut then pop into the stealers with the V5, some form if ID and £40 and they will order you a new one which will take 2-3 days to arrive

Now throw the locking bolts away and replace with standard ones  :y

Far easier and won't easily round off!  :)
