I posted the part 1 a few weeks back,

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=124145.0;nowap

which, in a nut shell was about the newly released Nokia X Windows Phone running (a kind off) Android with a retail price of £99. The biggest issue being you couldn't run the Google Play App Store for Apps but only run Nokia's own Store for Apps.

The phone has been a massive success in Asia where Android rules the OS's. and also made even more popular by Hackers offering a brand new phone with a Fully Fledged Android OS rooted in the Firmware to over come the Google Play Store issue.

The phone was never offered in the UK by Nokia, but within a few weeks has seen eBay slipping of few through the net, to a now readily available at a £85 upwards brand new.

Anyone thinking of buying a Nokia X in the UK should hold back, as looks like Nokia have reacted accordingly, as there now about to launch the X2, this time for a RRP of £79,  for a slightly better spec phone, only this time with the Windows feel running proper Android OS with full access to Google Play Store Apps straight out of the box (another kick in the mouth for Win 8 Mobile).

So if the last few weeks is anything to go by, we could be seeing the X2 in the UK being sold for around 60 to 70 quid in a matter of weeks, not a bad price for a low end Android Device.
