DaveA, just wondered if we met up last year at a caravan site near March, this guy had a 2.2cd, a very keen fisherman.

Because of where I work, I will have done nearly 30,000 miles this year. It's wearing the poor car out far too fast  :'( :'( :'(  I'm thinking about getting something cheap for the commute, and keep the Omega for the weekends  :y

If you lived in the north east why would you ever move to anywhere else?  :y

You've seen woody's current list of cars.. to buy somewhere down here with space for that lot you'd need the best part of £15,000,000!  ;D

Good topic, this. I'm interested in how many miles forum members do in their migs in a year, especially the V6 varieties.

I'll probably do approx 12,000 in my 3.0 this year......

Im reckoning on about 8000 this year. It has dropped a bit since my twice monthly return trips to Londinium have ceased since last month.

..insured for up to 40k - average 35k to and from work + business mileage. Pretty much every third month it's being serviced of some sort. Have to budget at least 1 set of tyres every year + cam belt every year.
Plus the Volvo insured for 20k - average 12-15k. So when the Omega's not in for something the Volvo is...service/tyres/tax/mot/breakdown cover.....it's relentless..... :-[

I do 12 to 15K a year, commuting and used for work for meetings, Home/School/Court visits etc all local, to work, stuff.....should get a cheap economical run about really..... ::) ::) ::)

Paid £350 for Master Vamps car, a little 1.0L Saxo, horrible to drive, he loves it, but other than a new battery has cost nothing, other than an oil change and an MOT in 18 months.... :-X

Its been like that all year so far, and i havent even touched the omega, its been goid as gold, although it had cam cover seals in the snow thinking about it, but i knew that when i bought it, along with wishbones.

Probably around 15k a year.

Sorry I meant over the last 12 months. If I was doing 500 miles a day both the car and I would be ready for the scrapyard !

I have done 12k between mot's in the last year. 3300miles were done in 3 weeks when i took it on a european tour with the family. Add to that the 10k i have done in my vectra and that equals a lot of petrol!!

I'm tentatively forecasting 50,000 this year - it's been a while since I've done that much in a year, although not my greatest by some way.
