It's too late to be up doing this so I am shutting down and going to bed - I'll start on LPG stuff at the weekend.

I should be fitting my front parking sensors tomorrow and waiting for a new tumble drier.
Might do a how to. (Parking sensors that is, not waiting for a drier).

You routing the same way I did though the grommit under the passenger scuttle? (its markcom incase you did't know :P)
If you are get a flat head screw driver in the side of the grommit, makes it easy to push in the power cable.
I really should seal mine with some gunk of some kind, the orignal grommit holds in nicely but still a very small gap, but i want to make sure no moisture gets in the cabin.
Can you reccomment some "gunk" to fill in the gap?

Hi Mark,
Yes, I'm going in through the grommet behind the cabin air box, now I know how easy it is.
I used silicon sealant on my other grommet. Just blob some on the end of your finger and splodge it on liberally. I did wash the grommet first so it would stick.

I have had my car nearly 3yrs now and even i sometimes struggle.
Maybe tempted to fit sensor but only on the back as I can usually tell distance at the front. lol ;D

Tumble drier came. Didn't get round to fitting front sensors. Too sunny. Went to pub instead!
Have got the rears fitted already, but whilst testing them, accidently bumped the gatepost and put a vertical nick in the middle of the bumper! Never, ever did that before the parking aid was fitted!
But I find when parking forwards, that I'm either 3 feet from the obstacle, or touching it.
If you use them sensibly, they really are a help. Honest.
-
I have them fitted to back of mine. Helpful aid, but not a replacement for looking!

Fuel Filter - If I get up early enough to miss the midday sun (fat chance - weekends are sacred for lie ins...) - probably will just get baked instead when trying to do it!

I can judge the front very well because I sqeeeeze it into the garage if i get the chance. The reverse parking? No Chance I can't judge the back end very well, might help if I took the 3rd headrest out I guess, but even then its very hard to judge the length of the boot.

Hmmm, there's a thought - I also fall into the group of parking 3 feet away from anything infront - occasionally out of necessity creeping slowly forward as much as I dare hoping not the hear the crunch. Any recommendations for a simple kit? (most on EBay, just checked, have silly digital readouts / LED bars which I do NOT want - a simple beeper than can be squirreled away would be fine. I guess you only need a 2-sensor device, too.
