Personally I have a "zero" limit on drinking. If I'm driving then I consume no alcohol at all. Many people have a "just one will be ok" attitude, or see it as being how many they can "get away with".
One of the problems is that many of the best pubs are in the countryside, so you need to drive or take a taxi, and I won't do either, especially for that impromptu nip out for a pint.

You're right! There are no words to describe this...
-
I know people who drive like that sober.

Would that be you? :)

A 41 year old female teacher was the driver it was said on the local news here last night, thankfully no injuries to any innocent parties .My personal opinion for drink drivers is a lifetime ban same goes for the idiots who insist on using mobiles whilst driving.
-
That is disgraceful. Especially at that time of day.

Should have had a bullet behind her right ear.
-
I was going to say ban her from driving and sack her from her job, but actually.. I prefer the suggestion above.

Dad used to drink drive but it wasn't illegal at the time. When I passed my test I swore they'd never get me for drink driving so I gave up alcohol, that was over 40yrs ago.....never missed it since.Drink driving, mobile phone while driving are big no no s for me along with something that I'm seeing more frequently round here and that's driving with a dog[usually a Yorkshire or pug]sitting or standing in the drivers lap :o

It`s that frightening half second delay :o can`t believe she didn`t bin it earlier >:(

One of the reasons I moved to Sandhurst is that we have two social clubs and four pubs (down from seven) all within easy walking distance. So if I'm driving it is zero alcohol and if I want a drink I walk there or if I'm meeting friends in London or another town or city I walk down to my local station and use the train. :y

When I was young, we all used to drive after having a drink. Coppers used to give you a warning and tell you to get straight home. Times, and attitudes, change.
Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.........and all that jazz. :)

And, while we're on the subject, I must have passive smoked a good few children to death too. But if they wanna travel on the top deck............ ;D
