The later ones are the facelift ones the easiest way to tell is they have the front grill on the bonnet, and not separate.

That would be the proper stuff to seal it then if Andy supplied it and NO you don't use it all unless you want to bung all the oil ways up and starve the engine of oil all you need to do is run a small bead all round the sump, be carefull not to smear it all over the place when you offer the sump up.

Omega General Help / Re: Oil cooler bypass???
« on: 30 November 2012, 18:32:04 »
Just done mine and although it was a reasonably difficult job to do, I certainly wouldn't bypass, Imo it would be a more difficult job blanking it than replacing it, as you would have to get to the pipes to blank them.

Omega General Help / Re: Standard Spare Wheel/Tyre

Yes it will be ok to get you home and get you to garage to get fixed but don't leave it on too long especially in wet. I have just binned mine and got a full size alloy wheel for spare I hate those things and think they should be banned. JMO ::)

I`m sure you`ll get one cheaper on here if you put a post in the wanted ads  :y

Hi when you do them make sure you clean out all the emmision and breather tubes and parts because most of the cases they start to blow is because it is all gummed up, if you don't do it chances are you will be doing them again soon.
