I like cruise on the VW, light on in the speedo, plus set speed in the central display.

Controlled by soft touch switch under the indicators, very nice to use.

Controlled by soft touch switch under the indicators, very nice to use.
The older GM ones as fitted to Omegas are a bit fiddly, on the end of indicator.

I would prefer the second stalk like the merc C + E class then theres no interference

And BMW, VAG .. anything German perhaps.

Although I did sleepily flash someone this morning instead of re-engaging cruise..  :-[ In my defence it was 5:30am..

It was only hours after I bought it, in my defence  ;D - But now I just leave it in "ON" mode all the time, just flick it forwards to engage.

The last one I had on a seperate stalk was my E92. Later models have the limiter/cruise control on a thumb wheel on the steering wheel.  :y

E39 is on the wheel, as is Focus :y

Merc was a separate stalk which did both cruise and limiter :y

Ah, I'm not flash enough to have driven anything newer than the E64 ;) ;D (although if I could stretch to it I'd seriously consider an F32 or maybe F11 next time)

The Datsun`s cruise and speed limiter are on the steering wheel too.  :y
