In search of a boot lid spoiler
« on: 26 May 2017, 18:17:20 »

Can anyone please tell me where can I find a boot lid spoiler like the one in this picture? I keep seeing pictures with them but I have no ideea who makes them or where can I find one. Thank you very much!

Link to the picture, got it from Google:

Here in the UK, they were only fitted to Elite, MV6 and Sport models, and are relatively hard to find as an individual item. Removing a spoiler from a boot lid without causing damage isn't a particularly simple job, as they are bonded on, not bolted. Better buying a second hand boot lid complete with the spoiler, so the only issue will be getting it painted. The original GM ones fitted to the facelift cars were Prodrive, but these haven't been available new for some time.

Over here most of the Omegas are diesel powered and from time to time a V6 pops up, but none with that spoiler. Will keep looking. Found one on ebay for 200+ shipping from UK but that seems just a litle to much. For now. :) So.. still looking for one. :)

It is fairly simple to remove one. Takes about  15 minutes with a paint scraper and a hammer.  ;)
Used to be pretty easy to find , but less so these days.
