Today I have been mostly...

Getting grit in me eye while fitting fuel line clips... While I lay on me back, head under the car, next doors cat wondered over and curled up on my chest ;D ... WTF is that...  "ah!  Hello Bonnie". As she licked me nose.  ;D
I hope you drove through a farmyard first...  ...I had a sense of self satisfaction knowing you were getting covered in cowshit when you did mine ;D

Quick oil and filter change on my DTi, and a bit of grease slapped on the brake lines while the oil drained tonight.

Discovered slight play on the OSF track rod end so that's a job to do before the MOT at the end of June....  ::)

Cleaned a LOT of sh!t off the windscreen and bonnet!

And chucked in air and pollen filters so I can feel I've made a start on the service.

Why are we so gullible as to buy pollen filters?  I take a walk outside so I can breathe fresh, unfiltered air.   :-?

Recently bought the Black Beastie from the Amigo and just starting to get used to working on the car and getting my hands dirty.

Removed and refitted the rear parcel shelf wiring in the blind.
Changed the cone filter back to the original air box.
Removed, cleaned and replaced wishy washy motor's. Now working well.

Next jobs will be to get some cats and a exhaust and replace the lovely fruity sounding stainless exhaust system on it :'(. Unfortunately the wife does not seem to share my view on how she sounds.

Looking forward to maintaining thi

Well, gave the old girl a good clean over yesterday and will be doing the same again today after two massive bird turds found their way onto it in the office car park!

Then tonight its having a look at the fuel pump cover plate etc. to see if there is any signs of leakage after I filled her up a few weeks back and ended up making a nice puddle Tesco forecourt!
