I have bought another Land Rover Discovery for Mrs.Loo-knee which I had to change all the door locking mechanism springs. The rear doors are easy but the fronts are such a pain in the rear, the window frame has to be lifted almost out to enable you  to remove the mechanism. It then takes 3 minutes to replace the spring then its refit time  :D

Had to order a track rod end so thats for tomorrow :y

Took the car to a garage for its pre MOT check and found out that I need to replace the brake hoses with braided as the brackets on the coil overs are to sharp for rubber  >:( >:( :-X

Sewed up the loose threads on my steering wheel, which have been annoying me since I got the car.

Not the world's neatest job, as I seem to have mixed about 3 different stitches, but at least I don't have the bare leather edges rubbing against my thumb any longer.

full geometry..

after the vacation steering was not ok..

and it turned out to be:

left front extra 5 grs
right front really bad, tire needed to turn around the wheel and some 20 grs
left rear 15 grs..
right rear no probs..

Dismantled  drivers side HID headlight, rebuilt it with an alloy adjuster. All hunky dory now.
It seems a shame to hide those alloy adjusters away inside a light unit. They are like little works of art. :)
