ZEE - can you try to refrain from using mobile phone/text speak - its very difficult to read, both for humans and computers. Thanks.

prob about £150 - £200 ish for cambelt

franly it's impossible for the cambelt to goose the cruise unit.  Look for faulty stalk (broken switch or wires), blown fuse, broken bowden cable or possibly failing ABS uint (but you'll have no speedo if that goes)
