I have used Tcut paint restorer in the past with success.  I know others have used fine wet and dry paper with water.   But the problem on the Omega is mainly with pre 98 cars with non 'projector' headlamps which go yellow.  Is this what you mean?

Is the haze on the inside of the lens or outer?

Brasso worked well for me with my last Omega's headlamps. It's also good for PDA/mobile phone screens when they get scratched  :)

I tried the sanding and it made it worse.  How much do i need to sand it for?  Plus i think the haze might be on the inside as well, but can't tell as its looks bad now.  I bought the wet/dry sand paper 800 and 1500 grit got some plas-x polish and i just made it worse.  I have to take my car to a show and i would like it to look nice.  Please help

Meguiars Plast X on the rotary made mine crystal clear again   :y

If you W/D you will need to use an abraisive compund to remove the marks though first.
Farecla GŁ with loads of water on the rotary is good - careful not to create too much heat though

I recently did this on my Catera and you must make sure after wetsanding i used 2000grit , but anyways make sure you use a polish on it to make it clear again.

Yes, you need a cutting compund after the sanding, in the UK some use T-Cut (not sure this is available in the USA), I personaly use G3 compund.
