Hello all this one is strange when I open the car the boot will open too I've checked fuses carnt see any probs there the boot will open on the fob it won't open from the inside switch anyone got me ideas....could it be the boot switch when you open it on the fob the yellow light on the switch comes on...I've given up hope looking for the fault Any help many thanks

You know the internal button needs to be held in for a few seconds to release? The other query suggests something may be amiss in the fob?

most likely a fob issue or could be the central locking ecu

Sounds like a problem with the fob to me, have you got another?

Happened Mine too mate.

The Wires coming down along the hinge of the boot were stripped underneath the outter insulation and were connecting together. I changed all the boot lock, motor and key to try fix it but i found out after these wires were just stripped . Hope this helps
