Torque settings

I've  just bought a set of Vectra alloy cam covers after replacing three pairs of plastic ones over the years.
Does anyone know if torque settings for alloy covers are the same as for plastic ones?
The plan is to replace them next month because it's already cambelt time.

8Nm is for the plastic covers. Danzig is fitting ally covers, hence the question  ;)

That is for the metal covers. I've owned a fair few Vectra V6's and a smaller number of Omega's.

Torquing down plastic covers with 8Nm is quite stresfull as you can see it already bending on the long edges and that's just 8Nm.
So 8Nm it is. Thanks guys

8Nm is so you don't overcompress the gasket. And it's probably the same gasket for the metal covers.
