At the earliest stage of HG failure a tiny amount of combustion gases force their way past the fire ring every time that cylinder fires. It doesn't take much to pressurise the cooling system when the cylinder is firing 1000 times every minute. That size leak probably won't show up on a compression test.

why you think you got problem with HG??
