Title: TC Brake Pads
Post by: iansoutham on 02 August 2019, 15:10:42
Just thought anyone might be interested, but my local Vx dealer is saying that the Omega is no longer on TC for brake pads.

How true this is, I cannot confirm as it is WJ Kings in Welling, Kent....

You will find this will start to happen on a lot of older parts as PSA start to sort things out. They are looking at having stand alone parts centres much like VAG have done with Trade Parts Services and what Ford are now in the process of doing with there Parts Plus.

Will another eighteen months to a year before the first ones start to open. You will be able to still buy parts from the Dealer but it will be retail only as they will only be there to supply there own workshop/bodyshop.

I'm hoping I have enough brake pads to see TBE through my ownership of it.

Its saving grace is that there is *NOTHING* to replace it. Nothing.

So it'll get chucked in for an MOT and we'll see where we are then.
