Breaking news tonight that Donald Trump has agreed to meet Kim Jong-un by May! :o :y (That's the month of, Uncle STEMO, not the PM! ;D)
Seems like a lot of speculation at the moment as to when, where and what will be discussed, but it seems that North Korean de-nuclearisation will definatly be on the table! :y
What's the catch? :-\ ::)

If Kim actually leaves his country for the talks, we should kidnap him and replace him with Michael Macintyre. No one would notice.......I don't think.

Freeing up of sanctions in return for ? Pausing nuclear programme. Getting rid of all missiles . How would anything be policed?

If the negotiations for the ceasefire after the Korean war are anything to go by, (they are still technically at war), this could take a hell of a long time> :-\

Reading between the lines, I believe that China has kicked the backside of Kim Jong with sanctions bitting and warnings that they do not want any nuclear hostilities so near to their land. In addition Kim Jong has (probably) finally run out of money / credit from China, and it is time to settle down and pacify the USA as well as China (Russia as well maybe??).
That's how I see it anyway, and whatever it is must be good news. :)

Russia won't like it at all, they've been supplying North Korea and Iran with technology for years. What a delicious irony it would be if North Korea fell out with Russia and pointed it's peashooters in that direction.

Whatever the Russian asset Trump, Putin the supplier of nuclear bomb and ICBM technology and the main sanctions busting countries decide along with Kim Jong-un. What is guaranteed is that anything agreed will be totally ignored by Putin and Kim Jong-un as that is what they both do to take advantage of any perceived advantage, especially if there is any chance of rubbing the USA's noses in it. :(
There will be two shrewd presidents in the room and an egotistical patsy president who will be played to the full with a bit of ego boosting flattery. >:(
