They restore some interesting vintage technical items amongst all the girly dross like old, knackered teddies and the like!
However, I do agree that the useless prenter with the silly flat cap needs to be on TB's cull list - he does even less than Fatty Brewer!

Apparently, the "workshop" exists, but is only populated for filming. The public cannot just turn up, but they have to apply and be granted an appointment if successful. The experts only come together for the filming; but I bet you guessed that anyway!
All costs are met by the production company.
I have a treasured heirloom in my garage in its component parts which I want the team to restore to full working order for me - my 1952 Sunbeam S8 motorcycle! Do I stand a chance?

The minor cycles are shorter than that, BG. Massive sunspot flare-ups occur on a c200 year basis and lesser ones on an 8-to-11 year basis.
Minor flares have a gentle effect on our climate and major ones send us scurrying to the green parties for help!
There is nothing that we can do about either type.
Your 1,000 year cycles are an unknown quantity as nobody living now has had any experience of them!
Take comfort from the fact that this planet is a f***ing great self-correcting machine and can cope with such problems.....

ONLY if people get behind Boris and give him their full support instead of pulling in the opposite direction. Let's have a united country for a change; that way we will be unbeatable!

Buy TWO of these:-
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Timing-belt-kit-Vauxhall-Vectra-Calibra-Cavalier-2-5-Omega-2-5-2-6-3-0/222619968296?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

You need two because you need the extra pulley and it is cheaper than any other kit. James V6 CDX uses them!

Firstly Rods2, thank you for your good wishes - I aim to go on for as long as possible!
I am doing much as you suggest, but with the addition of a "Total Pounds" column as partway conversion to kg. I use the formula thing to multiply the "Stones" figure by 14, then add that figure to the "Pounds" figure. The result gts converted to kg, but I have to do this for every cell in my primitive way....which is why I asked if there were a posher way to do it!

I can't see an advert for the Maserati Sprint horns - 2 trumpet shrill granny-scarers - but these 3 trumpet ones could be even louder!

Nick, my posh Salter scales are switchable to kg but I am more comfortable with stones and pounds. My GP speaks metric, however, so I need the conversion.,
D.G., I want to enter the data daily and have the sums done automatically for me - not too much to ask, is it?
