Hi. Not sure if I can actually post this as I've not reached the req post contributions. . If not please delete. I have a CDX saloon with leather but am looking to find a perfect set of seats preferably in dark grey cloth.cd/ CDX style. I assume if I get them complete from a working car they will just swap straight in with regards to airbag system.heaters etc.

The annoying thing about this is that years ago nobody seemed to be able to give them away even when perfect. Everybody seemed to prefer leather then. Now finding perfect ones will be much harder. I have a viva with vynil seats and having the same trouble finding any velour ones for that. They were very prone to splitting on the seams even when pretty new!

Oh absolutely - I skipped a set a few years ago that I had been using as extra lounge furniture for over a year...

Sorry .not trying to bump this up just had a thought. The omega seats will pop up eventually.probably get them from the specialist in nottingham if any others nearer dont show up but with regard to the ones im looking for for my viva .they are a ribbed velour material style as some of you may be familiar with and besides viva gls they were similar if in style only to what could be found in other vauxhalls of the seventies.namely magnum,victor,vx2300gls and early mk1 carltons too. Also mk1 cavs from approx 79 onwards.does anyone know of any of these for sale anywhere ? I could then play around with seat bases,mountings etc and could make them work. Thankyou all. Chris
