According to the map, that is in the middle of the Atlantic, near tropic of capricorn

Not quite mid atlantic but, just off the coast of Nigeria....so if anybody is into paint balling or gorilla warfare, they will enjoy it!

count me in then, itll be like another day at work.... ::)

No BBQs!

Hmmm, maybe not an ideal site then :(

BBQs are allowed as long as there not the ones that sit on the grass, e.g disposables, hope this helps. If anyone is not sure about this site then please say, as i say i have been past here many times and it does look very nice but have never stayed there so cant comment on the site itself. If you want to look at other sites then please do, this one was only a suggestion. Hope this all helps. What ever or where ever looking forward to it  :y

My concern is that virtually every view said the owners wouldn't tolerate anything. Seeing as we upset the Lakes owner, not sure how we would get on here.

My gut feeling is look for another - I think a couple have been suggested in this thread.  Best ensure they don't mind a large group of 30/40yr olds...

mmmmmmm, read the reviews too and not so sure now although they did seem very nice on the phone :-/ Anyway just one more sit for consideration, i have no experiance of this site though Symonds Yat is beautifull. This is the link>>>>>> http://www.canoehire.com/symyat.html . If any of you would like me to make any further enquires about this place then i will with pleasure or if anyone has another idea for a site then over to you, bearing in mind from previous posts a centralish location would be best favoured. Cheers, Jez

If I'm not being too presumptuous being a new guy round here, may I suggest a look at this site. Judging by these reviews it looks like a really nice place. I appreciate that it is a bloody nightmare to organise something like this and to try to please everybody and that it is difficult to find a place that is willing to accept a large party and could accomodate us on the weekend in question.

As I said, I really don't want to poke my not inconsiderable nose in where it doesn't belong but I wasn't inspired by most of the reviews of the other place and don't want to be on best behaviour all weekend :y

Have a look here   :y
