Personally, I thought the original TV series was the most pretentious over rated shite Ive ever seen.
Only thing I can remember really laughing at was Cleese in Ministry of funny walks.
The films were pretty good though.

Why would anyone mention Arthur Haynes, Harry Worth, Arthur Askey, Max Wall (Don't shout it out, they'll all want one) ;D, to mention just a few. They are from a different era. People wouldn't find them funny because they wouldn't be pertinent now.
