Omega General Help / temperature sensor location.

Hi all I have a 1998 Omega Elite with the BMW 2.5 engine, . the temp gauge does not work, I have looked for the sensor on the engine with no luck, can anyone help please, .

Hi all, I have an Omega Elite estate, when I bought it it was flattening the battery, the day after getting it home battery was flat, so I jump stated it off my Carlton, it was an instant start which was satisfying, I discovered on turning it off that the computer was staying on, so decided to disconnect the battery, this is when I noticed with ignition turned off that there was quite a large flash at the battery terminal, on reconnecting the battery all appeared well with the computer turning off after the ignition was turned off,  but strangely the car will not start straight away. it appears that the glow plugs are not working, can anyone tell me which relay controls the Glow plugs as I am wondering if the relay was at fault and was causing the battery drain, any advice would be appreciated,

Hi to all members, I have recently acquired a Vauxhall Omega Elite, it appears to have an electrical problem, on trying to start the day after buying it the battery was dead flat, so jump started it and it started immediately, put the car on charge and found the computer/ clock display would not turn off, so I disconnected the battery and heard a spark at the terminal, I then found after reconnecting the battery that the clock display turns off, but strangely the car does not start straight away as it did when I jump started it,  it appears that the glow plugs are not working now, and I wondered if I have a suspect relay, it has the 2.5 BMW engine, on driving it home it also appears to underpowered, I am having difficulty finding any information on the Omega's with  the BMW engine,thank you in advance, any information would be appreciated,
