You need to get some Essex bling style puddle lights.  :)

Well done Dave! :y :y

From China via EBay, and runs on batteries :o

After TB's experiences with that type of mix, perhaps I will stay with my plain, boring, white light puddle units ;D ;D ;)

Put decent LED bulbs in the courtesy and map reading lights too. Then you can actually use them for reading! They work properly, rather than just giving a dim yellow glow like holding a jar of piss in front of a weak torch.

I replaced the number plate bulbs with LEDs too.

To do the whole car requires two sizes of festoon bulbs, and a handful of whatever the sidelights are. Change out of a tenner.

If my car passes its imminent MOT, I would like to do that. Do you have any recommendations/links, please?

I bought them off Ebay about nine years ago, so no. But you don't live in Brackley so buying a handful each of 36 and 44mm festoon bulbs plus some 501LEDs won't cause you any issues ;)

I also found when I replaced my interior lights that you need a small resistor ..I think 1 micro farad ?? to make them full shut down otherwise you will end up with them never full shutting down.

Again like Nick I bought mine and the resistor from Egay some time ago ,but Im sure plenty are listed
