I have parts a-plenty, including:

- BOSE bits
- door cards and trim
- rear electric shade
- buttons
- relays and fuses
- heated seats (grey cloth)
- headlights with HID bulbs
- etc etc

Pretty much everything.

Re the Bose bits. Do you have ncdc 2013 head unit with CID screen ?
A slightly strange request, but I need the black anti stone chip decals which are stuck to the rear arches. Only visible when the doors are open. They should just peel off.

Congrats on your 250 post.  :y

As per the Rules though, you have to list a price for each item that you list For Sale on the Forum (or if you wish, price followed by ono).  ;)

Ummmmmm

Good question. Given that I think CID means colour information display, then no. Mine is the orange lettered one with the CCR 2006 head unit.

Now, the anti-stone chip thingies. Do you have a pic because I've never heard of them?

I can send a pic tomorrow. But if you open the rear doors there is a long black  "decal" which runs down the outside of the wheelarch.
The kind of thing you might not notice if your not looking for it.

I'll pop out and have a look. Decal to me is an airfix term. I'm fully expecting to find some black and white stripes and maybe a pilot's head out there.

I would imagine you will need to fold them to fit them in something like a jiffy bag, but that should be fine.  :y

I'm currently trying to clear coat the xenon headlights as they were oxidised. Not having much luck getting a decent finish, so I'd hate to sell them like they are now.

But when I get them shiny, I'd be selling them with good bulbs for about £65 each (according to eBay sold listings).

I believe they have the ballast things that everyone mentions (grey box?), and I've no idea if the adjusters are functional. Wouldn't have a clue how to check.

Give them a gentle shake. If they rattle, the adjusters are toast.

They've been moved back and forth to an outside bench many many times now as I get frustrated with this shiny shiny process, and it's only me that's rattled.

I see now I've got myself in a muddle.

The switches are supposed to be:

Rear electric shade switch: £12
Interior alarm cutoff switch: £12

I was badly copying from my list and checking ebay.

Apologies!

As I say, I've compared to a range of eBay sold prices (not asking prices) to get my figures which is the only thing I could do really.

I want to sell the bits so happy for people to offer what things are worth to them.

Never attempted it myself, but would be interesting to see if you can get them off without damaging them.  :-\

Yea, they say that about the rear spoiler, I use an Axe and a Club Hammer, dont suppose that would work on the decals.

They are made from quite thick material. Wont tear easily. Just need to have a think about what to use to stick them back on. Contact adhesive of some description maybe ?
Apologies to op, seem to be taking his thread off course here.

Not exactly. I was away over weekend, and it's really rather wet out there now. I had a quick pick at the stickers and they're pretty solid on there, so I want to get a hair dryer or heat gun on them to loosen the glue a bit. I want to sell them in decent condition.

As you can imagine, rain and heat gun mix poorly. :D

I'll take a stab at it tomorrow if the rain holds off.

Are you in a terrible rush?

Mr EMD, is this just the front that you're ideally after (ie: a non-manky/sticky one) or the whole switch assembly, because yours doesn't work? I can have a dig in my spares box, that's all,  in case I kept one from my days of owning the inferior FL   :)

My car didn't have rain sensing wipers, so probably not.

Will double check. Was round my parents at the weekend looking for a spare light which I know I've got and subsequently lost. I did find a MFL version, but could have sworn I picked up a FL one a while back... in good, if not mint, condition.

Hi Terry,

Boot lid is available, yes.

Do you need the whole lot? i.e.

- hinges
- lock
- gas struts
- Elite spoiler

Looking on eBay, boot lid bare would be £30. Nearside lights: £25 for both.

I see you're in Midsomer. To save delivery, I can take it to Westbury where you could pick it up.

Hi V8S,
that sounds good. I imagined the door would come with lock and hinge, but not struts or spoiler. The cable I shall have to solder, so give me a fair length of cable with the boot lid. Delivery ro Westbury would be great.
If all that is agreed, tell me where and when to collect, and how to pay.

Terry

I was planning on selling the bits separately as I'm trying to make as much as I can to help with renovating my family cottage.

Would you be ok with £60 for the boot including hinges, lock, struts and spoiler?

Plus £25 for the lights.

So, £85 all told and taken to Westbury, so limited delivery overhead?

Let's start again. All I need is the bare boot lid, £30. I will take the 2 nearside lights at £25, though RobG sold me a set of 4, delivered, for £20, just 3 months ago, so they are not cheap. You said 'to save delivery I can take it to Westbury where you could pick it up.' I took that to mean free collection from Westbury. Now you appear to expect a delivery charge, not to my door, but 20 miles away.

Can we settle on the bare boot lid and the 2 nearside lights, collect from Westbury, for £55?

Hi Terry,

I'm basing prices on average sold items on ebay as I'm not 'in the loop' so to speak on what bits things are worth. I've found myself with a dead car and, rather than scrapping it, I'm trying to make the best of it. I'm only interested in getting a fair price for bits, and am willing to negotiate. I'm interested in keeping other Omegas on the road as I've always loved them.

I didn't mean a charge to deliver. I would take it to Westbury for free to help you out, because my girlfriend lives there. If Midsomer was on my way, I'd have dropped it off for free.

By overhead, I meant it would only cost you your fuel to get to Westbury and back, instead of courier fees or having to pick up from Dorset.

As you wanted the lock and hinge, I thought I'd offer the whole lot as a bundle to save me time taking it apart and you time putting your bits onto a bare lid. You'd be able to just bolt it on. Looking on ebay sold items, all those bits seem to come to about £80 separately, so I thought £60 would be a decent price for us both.

Lights have sold on ebay for £14.99 each, so £25 for two seemed ok to me.

I hope this makes sense. I'm sorry if I confused.

You can have the bare boot lid and lights for £55 if you would like.

PS. I just saw your thread about the crash.

Just a thought but you realise my boot is Nautilus blue, a kind of bluey greeny, not the darker Nocturno blue which yours seems to be?
