i'd be embarrassed to say how far away i'm coming from :-? shall we have a prize for the farthest member getting there?

145 miles for me. Depending on where in Kent you are, probably
30-40 miles further for you.

Another full tank of petrol over the round trip! :'( :'(

my car has become more thirsty over the time and at least i hope with some advice from others i could get the mpg back to 32 from current 27  :(

According to the AA, 171.9 miles each way.

Should get there in 2 hours at a push  ;)

Not sure i'll do it on a tank of petrol!!

122.5 miles from door to door. 2hrs 34 mins.
Thats roughly the same distance to my brothers house in Burton-on-Trent so should  just use about 12 litres of fuel.

Kevin, as a newbie can i nominate myself :D? could be a warm welcome gift ;)

Also, anyone bringing a breaker or something? Ordered a front wheel hub together with the cam kit + water pump today but don't have a powerful wrench for it :(. My torque wrench max is 210nm, is that enough for the bearing nut?
Autovaux has next day delivery (£7) and even Saturday morning delivery (£13 - possibly even to the meet?) in case someone's missed something.

No should be 320nm but I will be taking mine :y

I think its supposed to be just over an hour and a hlaf for me, but the suggested route is (old) M6 north of brum.  Anyone know whats thats like early Saturday morning, as I haven't been on it since the racetrack opened...   ....or I could go the other way round brum on M5  :-/.   I know I won't go through centre of brummie land - my gps was not too happy with all the tunnels on the inner ring road bit in the centre last time :(
