Trade Club
« on: 01 July 2018, 17:44:56 »

Has anybody else any experience of Trade club prices recently?

Been to my local dealer WJ Kings in Welling, Kent and asked for a price on rear pads for my estate under trade club (have a trade club number and account). He came back with £52+vat retail and just under £48+vat on trade club. I am sure they used to be around £20. I asked about the lack of difference and he said that since PSA took them over a lot of discounts have dropped. Sound right with anyone else’s experience recently or do I need to find another dealer?

Getting the parts is not a problem, I am ex-Vx main dealer myself but was more about trade club discounts in general or certain dealers trying it on.

Pretty much the same here, sounds about the price that I was quoted by Eden Vauxhall in Kidlington. Ron at the parts counter is very familiar with Trade Club but even he commented at how expensive the rear pads are now. In the end I got mine from ECP for about £14 when they had a 40% offer on. It was a known brand but I can't recall what brand now.  ::)

That's disappointing to hear, when I bought rear pads for 3.2 some years ago now, they were sub £20.

What's Trade Club price for 10/40 Semi these days? Had been planning to ask little fatty to get me some, but if TC prices sky high now, might as well go ECP's QX stuff.

Is the website still up and running ? If so, the prices should be on there. I keep forgetting where I wrote down the login details so cant check.  :-[ ::)

Sure it was genuine? I'd be concerned about any old oil just slapped in a GM tub.

£25+VAT for 20l, when I last bought in the Spring.

£55+VAT for 20l for Jag on TC a couple of months back.

So still seem very competitive.

Rear pads prices quoted above are for the OE pad, not the far cheaper TC pad (which is about £15+VAT).

That sounds more like it, sounded too dear to me.

Thanks for confirming TB
