Drove it home from work... Absolutely no problem at all, in spite of WSCCs utter failure to grit/clear any roads between the M23 and home...

Spent most of the dual carriageway sections in lane 2  ::) and was able to make better progress than the dawdling numpties blindly following the random path that had been cleared in approximately the same direction as the road  ???

I mean, really, when did a perfectly straight dual carriageway become a slalom course except for the plethora of roundabouts which are now miraculously straight?

Picked the Jag up from the garage, after being fixed again.  I walked into town to get it, I would have to say, there is a definite chill on that wind.

Timed it perfectly, as as I drove it home, there was a blizzard. But at least it was warm in the car ;D

He wouldn't last five minutes.

It would go like this:

Boss: How is the new tester getting on?
Manager: the oppser has got to go
Why?
Because the door handle has fallen off, the lights have fused, the table collapsed and my coffee mug leaks. And all he did was walk in and say Hello!

Still, any day when you don't contribute any space debris is a good day. :-X

Then to top it off, he blew up the tea room!

Corrected for you.

Wheel bearing, both times.  The replacement lasted about 100miles before giving up worse than the original. Still, the caliper mounting bracket held the wheel (via the disc) reasonably straight until I'd slowed down.

I came home slowly, and not via the motorway ;D

So either:

1) badly fitted & failed
2) crap part
3) your driving style destroyed it.

1 or 2, as I was being a good boy (travelling in works time), plus trying to improve on my previous tank average of 27mpg ;D

I'd be surprised if even your powers of car destruction extended to killing a bearing in less than 100miles!

Did Jaaaaag fit it for you? I'd be mildly vexed to say the least!

As he walked I think I know who he used.

Brackley is not posh enough for a Jaaaag dealer.  ;D
