Exhaust Paste - Where to use?
« on: 31 May 2008, 18:00:40 »

Ok got the cat back 2.2 exhaust from the Vx dealer this morning.

Got the clamps and bolts, and some paste, its no gasket as it does not need one.

But where to use the exhaust paste? and how much to use?

Tunnie, as long as you use the paste AFTER the cat(s) you will be fine. As regards to how much thats up to you, usually you need enough just to cover the area you are joining to make a good seal.
