Please lock, no longer available

To make these more desirable, why not weld the bosses in so they fit a 2.6/3.2..

Probably very true, but I don’t have the bosses or a sparky glue stick thing  :D

3.9 manual picks up a bit better, but numbs the top end somewhat ;)

On a private road of course  ;)

As title, pair of Halfords roofbars with gutter foot pack, just what you need to fit a roof box or carry awkward loads on the roof.

Excellent condition.

£40 plus postage or can be collected (Stirling, Central Scotland)

If you're using the R28 Omega box, you can use the flywheel and clutch from a V6 Calibra, those were single mass.

This is the genuine main dealer tool kit, not to be confused with the budget tool brands.

To anyone not in the know, this kit is essential when changing the timing belt on the Vauxhall and Saab V6 engines and covers the full range - Omega, Cavalier, Calibra, Vectra, Sintra, etc. and the Saab V6 models too.

All 5 components of the kit are present and correct - 2 x cam locks, crank holding/position tool, belt wedge (stops the belt slipping off the crank while you fit the rest of the belt) and the cam timing gauge.  Also included is the proper Kent Moore roller adjuster/holding tool which is basically a 30mm deep offset spanner.

Complete with original carry case.  £75 plus postage.

As title, 2 pairs of 3L V6 exhaust manifolds with steel GM gaskets

£25 plus postage per pair or can be collected (Stirling, Central Scotland)

Sounds like a nice example. Shame to get rid of it for the want of a bit of welding or a pair of sills, if that's all it needs.

Sadly I don't have the time and the car no longer suits my needs.  The funds will go towards something more suitable for teaching the kids in - modified 3L V6 not exactly compatible with new driver insurance premiums :D

Those with long memories may remember this was advertised previously before I decided to hold onto it.

1999 3L Manual Mini-Facelift MV6

Spares or repairs, failed its MOT back in October with holed sills near the rear jacking point.

1999 3.0L MV6 manual saloon, Polar Sea Blue pearlescent, NO MOT, 176,717 miles (engine & g.box only done 98k)

Engine & Gearbox:
Cam belt done July 2018, 175,250 miles
Engine replaced in 2013 at 168,600 miles with engine & manual gearbox from my 3.0L V6 Elite which had just over 89k on the clock
Rear crank seal, crank sensor, MAF, thermostat, water pump, oil pressure switch, coolant temperature sensor, breather box, all replaced with genuine GM parts during engine change
   New radiator
Head gaskets done April 2015 at 173k, new cam seals, valve stem seals, etc.
Heads ported by Bill Blydenstein in 1999
   One piece 12kg flywheel
3.2 exhaust manifolds, heads matched to manifolds
EGR, SAI and air-con all removed entirely, EGR cheater fitted to stop EML coming on
Jetex full stainless steel cat-back system
Red Dot Racing ECU chip with 7,200rpm rev limit
   Short-shift gear lever
Estimated power around 240bhp, pulls in enough air to put the MAF above it's working range (although MAF input not used in WOT maps so this does not cause a problem)

Suspension, Steering & Brakes
Bilstein shocks & Eibach -35mm springs (lower than MV6 spec)
Powerflex front ARB bushes, poly rear cross-member donuts
Steering arms, drop links, front wishbones, rear track arms all replaced with GM parts late 2010 at 155k
   Hunter 4 wheel aligned
New GM OEM front disks and pads (not the later aftermarket spec junk)
Rear brakes converted to vented disks Oct 2014 (new Mintex disks & GM pads & TRW handbrake shoes)
   New SKF steering idler

Exterior:
Irmscher front bumper (and standard Irmscher boot lip spoiler)
De-chromed and de-badged, Opel badges front and rear are the only markings
   New windscreen
Sale will include a full set of painted facelift side trims (I didn't get round to fitting these)

Interior:
Light grey Elite leather interior, all 4 seats heated and working, full electric adjustment on front seats
MV6 carbon effect console, gear surround and door card trims
   Rear electric sun blind
   Bose sound system

Have done so much to this car that I have probably left lots out.

Looking for £750
