59 plate clit 1.5 DCi. 109k on the clock, had a minor bump at the rear, so an insurance loss. £700.
Allegedly averages 62mpg  ::)  £30 p.a. ved.
Might be £700 wasted, we shall see.
10 year old car with 109K miles, and if it goes wrong you'll be calling it french shite, no doubt.  ::)
Try a 10 year old corsa or fiesta with the same mileage, they'll be pretty goosed as well.

So if you're going to travel more than a hundred miles, you have to service your car?  ;D

Mine would have had over 100 services since it was last in the garage.  ;D

Took delivery of the little French piece of shite today. For the money, it seems pretty good......as long as it doesn't break down / fall apart in no time at all. ::)

Saab-ists, like OOF members believe in changing the oil monthly, albeit with slightly more justification on the Saab motors.

Had a blat with a Saab 9000 Griffin on the way home from work. It was being driven in the manner in which it deserves. 8)

Had a go with a 2.3 carlson on the way home from Ireland from Angelsy, I had 4 in my R5 turbo, he was one up, we were equal for around 20 miles that's all it lasted thankfully as the heat was taking its toll on my poor little 1400cc ;D and it was getting increasinlgly hard to keep up, my r5 was running 160bhp. At the time. Quite a while ago.

I admired his commitment given the foul weather and standing water. ;D

I think I was somewhat less "clenched" in the XE though. ;D
