Occasionally puts the spanner light on, only code is P0012

Has had the Vauxhall service bulletin carried out on the variable cam solenoids, thanks to MarkDTM.

There were a few minute particles in the gauze filters, which have since been removed as per the bulletin. Prior to this the light was on more or less permanently,  but now once or twice a day, goes out after a restart and returns after a couple of hours.

Car has done 115k, cambelt/wp/and thermostat changed by VX (pricematch special, which nearly put the service manager in hospital) at 100k.

Car runs fine and drives well, only other problems being an untraceable coolant leak, (which I suspect is merely being sweated out of the relief valve), and aircon U/S due to a dead condensor Economy is cosistant, no sudden increase in consumption.

Any thoughts

Must be me saw subject and thought  1958 vectra Sorry used to mates saying=got 55 chevy or 58 caddy etc
just an idea-but is there an EGR manifold on back of cylinder head?? if so coolant leaks into exhaust.  Only guess as thats what happened on 2.2 miggy
