I got one of those letters too. Returned it and within a week got my 2012 Trade Club "Trade Book" on CD.

Still not got a new club card yet. Mine had expired in January. My dealer says it doesn't matter as long as my details are on the computer data base?

It also says you can request a printed version of the Trade Book via the Trade Club website but I can't find the link.

Anyone else managed this?

No difference in price...

You get a genuine card in your own name,
and any mailings to the door.

Need to be in the trade to get one, or have a friendly dealer :y
