I believe genuine Vx with a trade card will match most prices and be a better system ...    :)

That looks a fairly nice motor, and it has a shin breaker  :)

I wonder just what the reserve is, I'd of thought around £1300-1500 would be a fair price, going by what I got for trade-in on my V reg Elite saloon...

But I know very little about prices, all I did was read Autotrader lots for 3 weeks !!! - concentrating on Elites....  :(

Just what are you going to do with ANOTHER miggy !!  :)

Most young people are now scared of RWD
Not sure thats the case.  I agree, many possibly wouldn't know what to do, but then dont know what to do with FWD either
:)I'm 24...sorry 44 so learnt in RWD's, other than Minis, BMC 11/1300's. Tiff Needell said on telly once that as a youngster he learned to drift in his Nan's Moggie Minor on X plys (who remembers them???) but it taught him the basics. 8-)

I certainly do .. my first motor was a 1952 Morris Minor .... 918cc Side-valve engine, cross plies, semaphore indicators, vacuum wipers ( if it was raining you had to take your foot off the throttle every now and then to get the wipers to sweep !!) .. and I paid £50 for it ... I was earning 2s 6d an hour ... so 400 hours work to buy it...  SWMBO gets £8.00 an hour so in theory she should pay £3200 for a car .. no way .. just shows 2nd hand cars are dirt cheap now if you use the "hours worked" theory !!

When mine had a single element failed my mechanic took the whole thing out for the MOT, put it back after... :)

It passed fine as no light fitted, if it's there it has to work properly .. but it doesn't have to be there .. if you get my drift !!!

Halfords used to do a lifetime warranty thing ... don't know if it still applies but you could take a broken tool in and they would change it.

As I haven't broken anything for quite a while I have no idea if the system still exists !!  :)

They also do quite a good socket set that is often on offer  .. :) as it is now ..
