And if someone quotes, it changes it on the front page.  ;D

Only a plaything surely? Not something to be used on a daily basis?

If you specify a spare tyre rather than a crappy can of foam there is even less room.

Practical they are not. Fun they most certainly are. :y

That must be bloody mental ::)

The V6 is superb, good balance of power, weight and handling, even reasonable economy is achievable.

The V8 is completely mental, fantastic fun but, probably to much for everyday. Plant your right foot, a TB esq. angry shouty man noise emanates from behind and off you go heading towards illegal mph in a matter of a few seconds.

I think I might need it again next week  ;D ;D

We took it to the 186mph speed limiter on the emissions circuit with little issue

We are not all computer nerds that think in binary

Remember, there are 10 types of people.

Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I wouldn't actually want one (for more than a day or 2) for practicality reasons - if I had that sort of cash, I'd be looking for a better compromise between fun and practicality.

How does the similar engine in the XF compare?  I seem to recall you had a 5l SC F-type for a trial at one point?

I had a day in both the 2WD and 4WD F-Type R.

They both have 550 BHP where my XFR has to made do with barely 500 BHP. Also, the F-Type is about a Hayabusa and a half less 'lardy' (400 KG ) than my car.......which makes a difference. :)

Had the V70 in for M.o.T. yesterday which it failed on n/s lower balljoint[I have a new bottom arm "in stock"]and both number plate lights inoperative-put new bulbs in and checked fuse but no joy next favourite is a broken wire probably around tailgate hinge area so I'll probably bridge it from one of the rear side lights.

This particular, as of yet unreleased model year, was quite a bit more  :y
