Never had a 2.5td Mig remapped but my old BM 325 TD was remapped and made a hell of a difference, 182Bhp from memory.

Bear in mind the Mig TD is about 130 Bhp as standard against the BM which is arround 145 so your down on power before you start, not sure what what limits the Power on the Mig over the BM lump, could be just the ECU program limitations.

Dont forget for the Mig your talking Manuals only, unless you upgrade the Auto box for a AR35.

Fine, more frequent Oil changes dont go a miss, smoked a bit but dont they all.

The Engine lasted longer than the Car, 200K, bits started falling off the car by then. The BM doesn't get used on the road anymore but still gets used on the Track, still going strong and plenty of power.  :y

I have had  chip in a Diseasel Omega for about a year now and it has improved it massively! Don't know what power it gives now, but it is so much more drivable.

Reliability wise, nothing untoward has occurred, as long as you stay on top of the servicing (oil & filter changes every 3k fuel filter filled with Diesel Magic every 5k) which can be a bit of a drag sometimes.

Got to be manual or an AR35 autobox as already stated, the AR25 autobox will be destroyed in a matter of miles!!
