Torque Wrench
« on: 01 June 2009, 18:08:15 »

Anyone recommend a half decent torque wrench under the £50 mark. Obviously needs to do most jobs on the miggy so 8NM to say 50NM would suffice!

Or has anyone got a spare that they want to sell? Don't mind secondhand anything is better than what I have!!

I think mine is a bit **** as I seem to be snapping bolts all over the place so its time to invest in a new one.

thanks  :y

The halfords small one, from 5Nm to 60Nm iirc, is under £40 with Halfords trade card. Around £50 retail.

Go into Halfords & ask for one, but you have to be in the motor trade or as some on here have done "flashed their VX trade card & got one". I tried to get one, but was refused as i don't work in the motor trade, though i do repair winches that run on air, diesel, petrol & electric. Sucks i think :( :'(
