Help with Mantzel box

Hello, please advice - I Mantzel replica before mounting box and I was warned that he should be shielded box. Anybody got experience and possibly advice on how best to implement it? :y

Very few people here have had Mantzel boxes fitted, tends to be in Europe mainly, don't think I've really seen on here.

Not a great deal of heat at the front of the engine and plenty of airflow when the engine is moving plus a good volume of air being pulled through.

Cant see it being a huge issue.

Consider that there's a large plastic panel covering the front of the engine - plastic - the temperatures aren't that high, otherwise it would melt!  :)

If you want to put some heat shielding on it to look cool, go for it, but as said, there's not much heat there, really.  :)

The original Mantzel's are alloy casted, a lot of the replica's are made of steel, so some people heat shield them, but as said not too much heat at the front, also helps if you can keep the cold air intake feed system in place.
