Right have just seen your other thread
Check control module lives behind the glove box, can't tell you what it looks like though as I don't have one on my car.
Well some progress After careful studying of the pictionary book I have done the following:
1. Identified all but one of the wires on the MID loom (that I found connected to the MID ).
2. Cross referenced all the wires on the TID loom.
3. Dismantled both plugs and transfered all the common wiring to the MID plug.
4. Connected Pin 6 on the MID to Pin 22 on the instrument cluster (ECU). GN.
5. Connected Pin 26 on the MID to Pin 20 on the instrument cluster (fuel gauge). BLSW.
6. Connected Pin 15 on the MID to the Brake Pedal Switch. SWGE.
7. Connected Pin 16 on the MID to Fuse 2. SW.
8. Connected Pins 23 BRWS and 24 BRRT to the control stalk, carefully modified to use the later plugs. (stalk came from a pre facelift, so may put a new one on at some point).
9. Connected Pin 27 on the MID to Pin 3 on the ECU Body loom plug. SWBR.
10. Connected Pin 20 to the Coolant Level Switch. BRBL.
11. Connected Pin 22 to the Washer Fluid Level. BRGE.
12. Connected Pin 13 to the Oil Level Switch. BRGN.
The MID works as it should except it keeps telling me to check everything
The head/tail lamp wiring will be grounded. Everything else will be connected accordingly where the engine wiring comes into the car behind the glovebox. Washer level already plugged in, new coolant bottle awaiting collection/fitting. Not sure if check control module is fitted or not but that only seems to check the lights
The only wire that I couldn't identify was SWGR from MID Pin 28. Not listed in the blox book. MID came from a 2001 2.6 CDX auto saloon if that helps.
Following the above you should have 3 wires left over: 1. MID Pin 17 WEGN Check Control.
2. MID Pin 18 SWGE Trailer Sensor, (check control?).
3. MID Pin 28 SWGR Stop Light, (check control?).
The MID will tell you to Check Headlight/Taillight every so often, but you should be doing that anyway
Having the complete donor car with a MID, you should have all the bits you'll need except the wiper stalk as they're different saloon/estate.
