It's amazing what a feminine smile and a nice bit of cleavage can achieve. ;)

A big bill at many garages  ::)

I think this applies more to 'ugly mares' and women who clearly don't know one end of a car from the other........about 90%

I'm sure Lizzie falls in the other 10%. :)

Well done, Lizzie. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Well yes, I certainly make sure the same garages I have used for years know me well and I really think want to keep me happy as much as possible, most of the time!! ;D ;D

Realistically though they know I know my way around the motor car and take pride in the car of the time, with it always being presented to them in a very clean condition.  I think that may help, as much as they know they can find themselves doing some work on it every so often so the condition at the MOT can be laid at their door as well :o :D ;)

Lizzie you think exactly along the same lines as I do , always worth building good relationships with the garage & their staff.

Reminds me, the Battlebus needs an MOT soon. Once I can remember who I gave it to.

Well done on the pass

Yep, I know all the key staff in the garages I use by their first names; always have. They then take ownership of your case whenever they should :D :y

It is one of those things you learn in business management.  If things do go wrong I always know who to approach in person! ;)
