Computer says 19.7mpg average, mostly do a 7 miles each way round town commute.  Starts at 30mph, then 40mph with a smidge of dual carriageway just before the end.

Steady cruising on Inst. Cons. has always been around 23mpg, with 3/4 a tank doing me 200 miles give or take meaning I fill up every other week.

Looking at these figures the V6 is not much worse than the 2.2 4pot.... :( :( :(  I average 25 - 27 mpg on the computer, mostly around town, 12 mile each way commute rarely over 60.....Strangely I used 'sport' the week before last and got nearly 28..figure that.... ::) ::)

the words "sport" and "2.2" don't sound right together :D :D ;D

 :P :P :P It can go pretty well if you floor it....... :P :P :P :D :D :D

I don't do that very often in mine any more, makes the fuel gauge flicker too much :'(

Up to 50.1 mpg on a recent run from Nottingham to North Wales....

30mpg all day long around town.

On a run to Gloucester a couple of weeks ago with 5 people in and 5 cases I returned 29.5mpg. That was on a distance of 960 miles.

Mixture of local and motorway gets me 25 point something or other mpg in my 2.6 auto. Seems pretty consistent.

Petrol or diesel?  I know the Superb is more Vectra sized (cabin space), but must be light footed to get 50mpg from a petrol one though :y.  If diesel, thats pretty poor by today's standards, esp as the Audi 2.0TDi is an economical unit.

Its a petrol 2.0, drove it at 50-55mph from here in Nottingham via the motorway and A55 to North Wales, average was 50.1mpg, came back through the mountains but still showed 41.9 by the time we got home....

Cant really compare it to a Vectra spacewise, its much more spacious....

Getting bored of listening to myself going on about how good a car it is (for our needs).......
