Im going to replace the arb bushes tomorrow in my continued search for the annoying noise Im getting from the front end as they are only £4 each.
Looks like car needs both front wheels of and supported on axle stands. Both drop links undoing so tension is removed.Had a good look today and Im sure with the front bagpipes out the way and engine undertray I can get onto all 4 bolts.....have I missed anything ??
Thanks :y

It's only one bolt each side, and I am not sure that you need to remove anything to access them :y

The metal shroud that houses the rubber sleeve is held down with 2 bolts each side and looking at the location from above the n/s is obstructed from above so access would be within the wheel arch.
O/s is not clearly visible so my assumption of removing the undertray and the front bagpipes would give a clearer view.
I ask from anybody who has previously replaced them as to how and what method they used. :y

Memory slip. One bolt is in an open slot, tother a straight hole. Have changed a few with either a 13mm spanner or a very long slightly flexible extension :y

My car had poly ARB bushes fitted when we did the wishbones.
The undertray was long gone by then.
Richard replaced the ARB bushes in the time it took me to cut out one front wishbone bush, with no other parts removed including the old rubber ARB bushes - he just slid them out of the way.
The poly bushes are split, so you simply wrap them around the ARB and bolt the clamp down. I don't think the rubber ones are split, so you'll have to slide them on from the end, and around then bend in the bar. This won't be particularly easy. And I would be astonished if changing these bushes cures your noise

Rubber ones on the Omega ARE split, so slide along, rotate and pop off :y

Good. 10 minute job once the car's jacked up then.
